Industry Segment: Contract Manufacturing
Are you a sales leader with experience managing RFPs for defense and commercial customers? If so, we need to speak immediately! We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Director of Sales & Contracts. Our client is a leading custom contract manufacturer of industrial sewn products. The person in this position will serve as a member of upper management and report directly to the President.
Location: U.S. - Midwest
Responsibilities:
- Expertly manage RFI and RFP processes and timelines to develop proposals that win business
- Identify new sales leads, secure and renew orders, negotiate prices, and support on-time deliveries
- Spearhead cost estimating
- Interface with internal departments to ensure profitability while meeting customer requirements
- Develop and lead sales, program management, and customer service teams
Qualifications:
- Sales experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Successful track record of developing winning proposals in response to RFIs/RFPs
- Program management experience is highly desirable
- Experience responding to government/defense RFPs preferred
- Self-motivated with commitment and follow-through
