Production / Process Improvement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Production / Process Improvement Engineer to provide expertise in the development of process improvement strategies and management systems. Location: Indianapolis, IN
Responsibilities:
- Oversee processes, evaluate failures and lost production, as well as develop and implement system/process improvement.
- Implement solutions with consideration to safety standards, food safety, quality, capacity, reliability, production excellence, continuous improvement, environmental and cost.
- Lead maintenance, reliability, production excellence, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Foster cooperation between interests in operations, environmental and supply chain.
- Evaluate organization readiness and implement process and procedural improvement.
- Oversee measurement processes to identify variance and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or technical discipline preferred
- 5 years’ experience with production excellence and process improvement in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communicator with an ability to translate highly technical information
- Project Management experience
- Demonstrated ability to create complex tests for analyses
