Master Plumber – Commercial Service

We are seeking a master Plumber for our client.  They are a leading provider of integrated building services in the commercial space.  The person in this role will be responsible for performing and directing all aspects of plumbing service including installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures throughout Western PA, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and installing a wide range of plumbing fixtures and systems in commercial settings.

Location: Western PA

Responsibilities:

  • Perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial plumbing systems, including but not limited to, pipes, drains, fixtures, and water heaters.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions promptly.
  • Scheduled and unscheduled travel covering a broad territory throughout Western PA for service and installation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to proactively identify potential problems.
  • Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, urinals, faucets, and water fountains.
  • Work with various materials such as copper, PVC, PEX, and cast iron to complete plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with installation and repair of water treatment equipment, piping and controls, underground storm sanitary, and water piping systems.
  • ICC / IPC certification is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Familiarity with commercial building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid license/certification preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Travel Required: Regional - Overnight is minimal
