Paper Mill Production Manager
Industry Segment: Pulp & Paper
We are partnered with a global leader in the paper industry to find a Paper Mill Production Manager. The person in this role will be integral to the overall success of the mill and a key member of the management team. This is a tremendous career opportunity for someone with sr. level production management experience in Pulp & Paper.
Location: Central Maine
Responsibilities:
- Leadership of production operations for three paper machine departments, coating & additives, finishing, and shipping
- Accountable for overall mill safety, quality, production, and cost
- Develop workforce for technical, business, and leadership capabilities within the paper mill organization
- Active member of the mill’s leadership team.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in an Engineering related discipline preferred
- Experienced with pulp mill operations
- Experience working with printers and/or with the final customer
- Extensive background in coated papermaking operations
- Successful track record improving safety, quality, production, and total product cost
- Strong communicator with team building skills
- Demonstrated ability to improve the performance capabilities of a sizeable workforce.
Travel Required: As needed
