Industry Segment: Software & IT Systems

We are seeking an ERP/Business Systems Developer to become an integral part of our client’s IT team and provide support to facilitate the efficient processing of data through the network and ERP systems. Candidates must be proactive, forward thinking and have the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, courtesy, customer service and ethics. The position reports to the ERP Manager.

Location: Central PA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize within the ERP (Epicor) toolset including screen customizations, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and Crystal/SSRS reports
  • Install Epicor patches and facilitate upgrade processes
  • Facilitate the integration of Epicor with other third-party applications
  • Test and validate upgrades and software
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls
  • Assist in maintaining and developing highly complex Excel spreadsheets
  • Work with a variety of departments to identify, evaluate, design and implement creative business and technology solutions
  • Maintain highly detailed documentation of all customizations and development efforts
  • Provide end-user support and training for ERP, including trouble shooting operational issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in IT or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience developing in Epicor ERP software, including BAQs, BPMs, and customizations
  • Proficient with C# and MS SQL
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with finance/accounting and in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Should have strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Self-starter who is also comfortable in a collaborative environment
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of work
