Industrial Sales – Repair Services & Aftermarket Products
Industry Segment: Industrial Machinery
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a background selling repair services and aftermarket products on large industrial machinery. This is a tremendous remote opportunity for someone that has technical experience with gearboxes or other rotating equipment.
This position covers the east cost, south of PA.
Location: Remote - Southern East Coast
Responsibilities:
- Sales of aftermarket products and services throughout the southeast or mid-Atlantic US while achieving the objectives outlined by group management including but not limited to:
- Developing new customers including repair and service of competitor products
- Creating Customer Profiles
- Customer Maintenance and Outage Planning
- Customer Relationship Management
- Upkeep of SalesForce database
- Promote sales of spare parts, services and complete units including retrofit opportunities
- Target of 7 face to face customer visits per month and file reports describing visit content/results
- Development of Service Agreements and Service Exchange programs
- Provide field support for service department in areas of customer quoting and follow-up
- Work could include working on/around gas turbine installations, pump installations, compressor drives, conveyor drives and mining facilities requiring a high level of physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Work with Inside Sales, Field Service, Retrofit and Engineering departments to establish schedules and priorities for field, in house repairs, part and unit sales, retrofit projects and engineering.
- Develop and update Installed equipment database, Visit Logs and Outlook Contacts.
- Provide sales support for direct sales through authorized, independent sales representatives and distributor organization.
- Participate at trade show exhibits
- Assist in overdue invoice collection as requested by management.
- Proven professional sales experience
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience with Rotating Machinery products & services
- Hands on experience in gearbox repair, service and retrofits sales
- Technical Degree from a two-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
Travel Required: 50 - 75%
