Sales Manager – Industrial Electric Motors

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with industrial Electric Motor experience. This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone who can identify market trends and customer strategies to drive new business in the U.S. for low and medium voltage Electric Motors and generators. Our client is a global leader in industrial machinery sales and service across a variety of industrial applications (power generation, marine, oil & gas, etc.).
Location: Remote - US
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions and negotiations.
- Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on high-margin products.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and sales materials.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and report progress to European and North American HQ
- Provide technical and sales training to sales team as needed.
- Work closely with product management, R&D, and operations to align product offerings with market needs.
- Support the development and launch of new products, ensuring they meet customer demands and market trends.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the U.S. sales team.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering or related field required. An MBA is desirable.
- Successful track record in developing medium voltage electric motor business.
- Experienced with international customers and managing complex sales processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and craft strategic plans.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Results-driven with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel.
